About Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs offers much more than just looking at animals. Here, you learn about animal conservation and the habitats from which they come from. Discover over 30 species of endangered animals and learn about what makes them unique and threatened. You can even hand-feed giraffes at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! This is America’s only “mountain zoo” and offers truly unique exhibits that you won’t find anywhere else in the state or country.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a great place to bring kids of all ages to learn about animal care and conservation. They have various programs geared towards different age groups to assure all kids and teens are intrigued. This is also a great place to have a kids birthday party!
